THE ADVENTURE CLUB OF ANDHRA PRADESH
Objectives of Adventure Clubs :
- To create better understanding brotherhood, a friendship amongst the fellow students through adventure related activities thereby making them better and more responsible citizens.
- To encourage budding talents and courage in kids to develop spirit of endurance risk taking co-operative team work and quick rendering and effective reflexes in challenging situations to provide incentives to kids for getting expose to adventure sports.
- Mainly inculcate spirit of leadership qualities among the students. Leadership is about converting vision into reality via strategic thinking and co-ordinated action, it is about defining and clarifying a vision and inspiring others not only to sing-up to the vision but also commit themselves health enthusiastically to sharing responsibility for process of implementing it.
- Team Spirit and Mental Endurance, mental strength is ability to concentrate when you want to as hard as you want to for as long as you want.
- This is even more important, then even a physical fitness for achieving all major goal in life. Mental endurance plays even a bigger role and physical fitness.
- Self confidence is an internal part of personality and is the very basis of success in life. In this era of ever increasing competition and challenging demands it is of paramout important and at many of us for one reason or the other shy away for making an effort to duly muster the confident we need. As a student when asked by your teacher to stand up and address the class well appearing an in view for a job, while working in an office given a new assignment by the management at all stages in life you need self confidence. Lack of self confidence is the root cause of most failures, low level of self-confidence is one single factor that causes disturbance and distress in the lives of many, as much it can cause all sort of Psychological, emotional and social problems, lack of self-confidence of a savere

- Degree can even ruin ones in life. Thus the world is a difficult place to live for those who lack self-confidence, people with low level of self confidence mis, the whole charm of leaving a good life.-
- Students can be explored to adventure outbound activities like adventure camps, rock climbing, trekking with emphasis on forest exploration and nature study. Wilderness survival rescue operation, navigation on ground, by day and night. Map reading, crossing of rivers and rapids scientific exploration, caves exploration.
- Water sports like Rafting, Sailing, Kayaking.
- Aero sports like awareness of all aero activities, Aero modelling and para sailing.
- To give professional and expert guidance to schools and colleges in organising their tours and excursions by offering quality service at reasonable prices.
- Presents kids adventure awards, number of awards 20, 10 for boys and 10 girls. Age between 10-15 years, in following activities.
1) Trekking 2) Rock Climbing 3) Mountaineering (high altitude)
4) Caving and Caves exploration 5) Long distance above 1000 kms cycling
6) Aero Sports / Aero modeling 7) Water sports, River Rafting or
any other daring social cause activities etc.,
This awards will be presented on children day i.e., 14th November of every year.
Best Adventure Promoting School Award :
No. of awards (2) for Private School (2) awards to Government Schools, each award consist of Rolling Trophy and Certificate.

Best Adventure Promoting Teacher Award :
- No. of awards (2) award for each in male and female section, each award consist of Medal and Certificate.
Also conducts Quiz competitions on adventure related activities and painting competitions to students at state
Membership:
Registration : Rs. 100/- per student
Annual : Rs. 50/- per student
Cessation of membership:
- Any mischavior on the part of an individual member when the principal is convinced that it is detrimental to the objectives of the clubs, the principal could terminate the membership.
Modus Operandi:
- Schools willing to be part of Adventure Club register with concerned Adventure Club of
- Andhra Pradesh (ACAP) by filing in a form.
- Every member school should appoint one of the staff member as a co-ordinator for interaction with ACAP.
- Every member school should convene at least one activity every month.
News Letter:
- ACAP publishes a quarterly News Letter containing the details of the ACAP organised treks / camps and other programmes. This news letter is being mailed to all the adventure clubs, and schools affiliated to ACAP.
